One of the world's poorest countries, Pakistan is vulnerable to a range of natural and manmade disasters including earthquakes, droughts, floods, landslides and civil conflict. Especially in rural areas, Pakistanis struggle with a lack of water, education and health care.
Catholic Relief Services responds to emergencies with shelter, water and more. CRS also works with communities to identify needs and provide resources like school buildings and irrigation systems that will help people become more self-sufficient.
