Rebuilding Hope—And Homes—After the Tsunami
As Catholic Relief Services marks the fifth anniversary of the Indian Ocean tsunami, we are reminded with gratitude of the overwhelming generosity of Catholics in the United States toward our relief and recovery efforts. Dozens of infrastructure projects have been completed in the three countries hardest hit by the tsunami—Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka. Roads, bridges, schools, markets, clinics and community centers have been built anew or restored.
