Sahel Crisis: Helping Refugees in Niger
Thanks to your support, Catholic Relief Services is able to provide much needed relief to thousands of refugees who have fled fighting between the Mali government and a rebel group in the northern part of the country. According to the United Nations, around 25,000 people have crossed into neighboring Niger as of February, putting additional strain on a country already stretched thin on resources.
CRS and our partners are mobilizing emergency water, hygiene and sanitation facilities to meet the urgent needs of the thousands of people now living in makeshift camps. Click through this gallery to see how you are helping to make this work possible.
