Typhoon Bopha Hits the Philippines

Packing winds of 100 miles per hour, Typhoon Bopha slammed into the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on December 4. The storm left behind a path of destruction, killing more than 300 people. Catholic Relief Services is working with the local Catholic Church to provide life-saving support to people in the hardest-hit areas.
