Join Us in Prayer

As Catholics, we recognize that prayer is of the utmost importance, an invaluable contribution to helping the poor overseas. We invite you to join us in bringing to Our Lord the following intentions and thanks.

God of peace, we implore you to bless the Sudanese with your peace.

Help us to be instruments of this peace with our brothers and sisters, as we all continue to work for reconciliation from decades of conflict in Sudan and South Sudan. Let us be bearers of peace in our hope and pardons.

We ask this through your son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Dear Lord, we praise you for instilling in us a commitment to use our gifts from you in our work with our poorest brothers and sisters overseas.

May you continue to give us wisdom to direct our compassion, that when we respond to need, we do so intelligently and effectively. Lord, help us deliver what is needed to our brothers and sisters.

We ask this through your son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Father in heaven, thank you for the blessing of mothers and caregivers in our lives. To honor mothers, we pray that you guide us to help those whose love extends beyond their means. Help us to journey with mothers who are struggling to feed, clothe and educate their young. What grace it is to share in achieving their dreams for their children!

Lord, thank you for the tenderness you show us, often through our mothers, who bear your love for us and teach us to share your love with the world.

We ask this through your son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
